Roisin Conaty is an Irish-English comedian as well as an actor. In 2010 she won the ‘Best Newcomer Award’ for her show Hero, Warrior, Fireman, Liar at the Edinburg Festival. Her series named GameFace, for which she was the writer as well as the lead cast aired on both Hulu and E4. Her second series also aired on Hulu and Channel 4 in 2019. This saw her win the ‘Heat Unmissables’ comedian of the year in the same year.
Roisin Conaty was born in Camden, London. Her parents were from Ireland and had met while working in the UK. She grew up in Camden with her parents and her younger sister Siobhan. In acting, she has appeared on Channel 4’s Man Down with Greg Davis, which has aired since 2013. In 2019 she featured in a comedy series called ‘After Life’ which was aired on Netflix. She is also popular for writing and starring in 2 seasons of Gameface.
