Cardi B has never been afraid to talk about her experiences having plastic surgery.

The "WAP" rapper also shared with Carey her struggles with hair management as a teen and the cruel remarks boys in her neighbourhood made about how she looked.

"I'm Trini and I'm Dominican, and many Dominicans have a particular type of appearance. They have lovely, curly, silky hair.

"With the hair, I've had a lot of comparable circumstances. The hair is a constant "stated Carey.

To maintain the health of her natural mane, Cardi has since learnt to mix her own at-home hair treatments.

She remarked, "I take care of my natural hair and make my own hair masks, and it makes me feel better, like what people were saying about me isn't true."

"My hair was nappy, so it wasn't too horrible. I didn't know how to take care of my hair, therefore it was horrible."

In a video uploaded to her Instagram last summer, the celebrity shared her homemade hydrating hair mask with her followers.

Before applying it to Kulture, her daughter who is 2 12 years old, she stated, "I know it's a lot of oil but my hair needed to be well hydrated like mine."
